日時：2010年8月20日(金) 13時00分 場所：C5講義室 講師：ROYON Christophe 氏 (France, Saclay) 題目：he ATLAS Forward Physics Project (スライド) 概要：After a brief description of some important results on diffraction coming from HERA and Tevatron and the present status on the search for the Higgs boson at the Tevatron, we will describe the main physics topics of the ATLAS Forward Physics Project (AFP). We will cover the exclusive diffractive production of Higgs bosons as well the study of the anomalous couplings between the W boson and the photon. We will study the forward detectors (movable beam pipe, 3D Silicon and timing detectors) which will be built for the project. |
