From 10 to 13 December, fourth-year undergraduate students conducted Time-of-Flight and gain measurements of GasPM and MCP-PMT using the electron beam at PF-AR Instrumentation Technology Development Test Beam Line in High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK). Their research theme is development of a novel gaseous photon detector, GasPM, and application of MCP-PMT to a beam monitor at the J-PARC muon accelerator.
We appreciate the support of the Accelerator Science Internship Programme at KEK and the staff of KEK. We would also like to thank the staff of J-PARC for their support of our tour at J-PARC.
