N-Lab will be open to the public at the 64th Meidai Festival

The laboratory will be open to the public at the 64th Meidai Festival on the following dates. The theme is "Exploring the world of elementary particles with cutting-edge particle accelerators”. Laboratory staff and students will explain in an easy-to-understand way the proof of Kobayashi Maskawa's theory at the KEKB accelerator/Belle experiment, and the discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC accelerator/ATLAS experiment, which both led to a Nobel Prize. You can also experience part of these giant accelerator experiments through experimental demonstrations and virtual reality (VR).

Date and time: Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Nagoya University, Higashiyama Campus, Faculty of Science, Building C, 5th Floor, Room 507 (Access)

Advance application is not required. Please take this opportunity to see cutting-edge particle physics experiments.
Please refer to this page for more details about the Meidai Festival.
Mark your calendars and seize the opportunity to be part of this extraordinary scientific exploration at the 64th Meidai Festival.
