The paper "Measurement of the \(e^+e^- \rightarrow \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0\) cross section in the energy range \(0.62–3.50\) GeV at Belle II" in which Yuki Sue has contributed as the main author, was published in Physical Review D.
This paper reports on the measurement of the cross section of the \(e^+ e^-\rightarrowπ^+ π^- π^0\) process in the Belle II experiment. The measured cross section of hadron production from electron-positron annihilation below \(2\) GeV is important as an input to the theoretical calculation of the muon anomalous magnetic moment \((g−2)\). In this study, we measured the cross section of the \(e^+ e^- \rightarrow π^+ π^- π^0\) process, the second largest contribution to the hadronic vacuum polarization term in muon \(g−2\), in the energy range \(0.62–3.50\) GeV. This represents the first precise measurement of the low-energy hadronic resonance cross section conducted in the Belle II experiment, serving as a benchmark for future measurements of various final states.
