N-lab members reported their research results, winning the Best Talk Award at Flavor Physics Workshop 2024

At the Flavor Physics Workshop 2024 (FPWS2024) , which was held in Gamagori, Aichi on December 2nd to 5th, 2024, oral presentations were given by Ryotaro Komori, Bela Urbschat, and a poster was presented by Tadaki Ichikawa.
Further, a lecture was given by Assistant Prof. Hikari Murakami, a member of the N-lab staff.

The workshop covers several topics in flavor physics, such as B mesons, charm quarks, and τ leptons and it forcuses on providing graduate students and young researchers with a bird's-eye view of and deepen their understanding of both theory and experiment, from the basics to cutting-edge research. Lectures for master's students (Introduction to particle physics, measuring instruments and accelerators, the Belle Ⅱ experiment, and related theoretical and experimental physics) were given by theoretical and experimental researchers, and oral and poster presentations were given focusing on students and young researchers in a wide range of fields, not limited to flavor physics.

In addition, Mr. Urbschat, a first-year master's student in our laboratory, won the Best Talk Award, which was determined by the participants' votes. Congratulations!
