N-Lab will be open to the public at the 66th Meidai Festival

The laboratory will be open to the public at the 66th Meidai Festival on the following dates. The theme is "Exploring the world of elementary particles with cutting-edge particle accelerators”. Laboratory staff and students will provide easy-to-understand explanations of major discoveries in particle physics, such as the experimental confirmation of the Kobayashi-Maskawa theory at the KEKB accelerator/Belle experiment, and the discovery of the Higgs boson at the LHC accelerator/ATLAS experiment — both of which led to Nobel Prizes. You will also have the opportunity to experience part of these large-scale accelerator experiments through a guided tour of our laboratory.

Date and time: Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Room 507, 5th Floor, Building C, Faculty of Science, Nagoya University, Higashiyama Campus ([Access])

No advance registration is required. Please take this opportunity to explore the frontiers of particle physics!
