N-lab members reported their research results at the 13th High Energy Physics Spring School

The 13th Spring School of High Energy Physics was held in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, on May 22nd–24th, 2025. From N-lab, a staff member and four students participated. The students delivered oral and poster presentations.
The Spring School has been held annually by the organizers including Prof. Makoto Tomoto, Assoc. Prof. Yasuyuki Horii, and other researchers from various institutions. Its aim is to convey the fascination of experimental particle physics and to expand both vertical and horizontal connections across universities, experiments, and academic years through discussions among young researchers. Research presentations and discussions by participating students, as well as high-quality lectures by staff members, strengthened the interaction between students.
The website for the High Energy Physics Spring School is provided here. The presentations, in Japanese, are available via the links below.

Minato Omiya, "Qualitative understanding of air shower phenomena by Monte Carlo simulation"
Hirai Koki, "Verification using electron beams of high time resolution monitors with MPPC"
Marina Hoshiai, "Evaluation of the Time Resolution of the MCP Monitor and Consideration of the Optical Properties of the Radiator for the J-PARC Muon g − 2/EDM Experiment"
Nariha Yoshida, "Performance evaluation of Versal AI Engine for ATLAS muon trigger with machine learning"
