Dr. Xiaodong Shi has been appointed as a specially-appointed Assistant Professor at Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute (KMI). We have received comments from him and would like to introduce them below.
My physics interests at Belle II experiment are mainly about γ/φ3 (one of the CKM angle), and B → Xs γ. Since last October, I became one convener of B Hadronic group. Besides physics analysis, I also work on CDC detector for beam background and charge asymmetry correction. To understand the Sudden Beam Loss issue on SuperKEKB, from April 2024, I took care of the loss monitors on the storage rings and analyzed the data from the monitors. In the future, I plan to focus on B → Xs γ process and contribute to loss monitors study.
