A special lecture by Prof. Hajime Nanjo from Osaka University was held

A special lecture hosted by N-lab was held from June 2 to 4, 2026. The lecture aims to invite experts in fields related to our laboratory, providing opportunities to gain specialized knowledge and insights into cutting-edge research.

For this special lecture, we had the honor of inviting Professor Hajime Nanjo from Osaka University. The theme of his lecture was “Physics and Experimental Techniques of Rare K Meson Decays.” He gave a comprehensive talk covering fundamental knowledge and techniques in particle physics theory and experiments, as well as the history of kaon research and the latest developments in various experiments exploring kaon decays. In particular, his lecture included highly engaging topics such as the experimental techniques and observational results of the KOTO experiment at J-PARC, as well as plans for the KOTO II experiment, which aims to further explore new physics. The audience listened attentively and was deeply engaged in the fascinating content of his lecture.

We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Nanjo for his very valuable lecture over the three days.
