Ms. Ayaka Kondo gave an oral presentation, and Assistant Prof. Yusuke Takeuchi presented a poster, reporting their research results at the workshop on beam physics, held at the KEK Tsukuba Campus on March 17th-19th, 2026.
This conference, organized as part of the Beam Physics Research Society’s/Young Researchers’ Group activities, brought together researchers in beam physics to discuss accelerator development and its applications. At the conference, Ms. Kondo reported results from low-power tests of a prototype bridge coupler for the Disk-and-Washer (DAW) muon linear accelerator, designed for the muon \(g−2\)/EDM precision measurement experiment. Additionally, Assistant Prof. Takeuchi reported on a new design aimed at reducing the cost of DAW.
