N研究室では、LHC-ATLAS実験が2011年に取得したデータを元に、終状態にタウ粒子を含む崩壊過程を用いたトップクォーク対生成反応断面積の測定を進めてきました。本研究成果は博士課程学生の高橋君を中心としてまとめられ、5月9日にPhysics Letter. B に提出されました。提出論文は、Measurement of the top quark pair production cross section with ATLAS in pp collisions at √s = 7 TeV using final states with an electron or a muon and a hadronically decaying lepton でご覧になれます。
