中浜優准教授と博士後期課程の佐野祐太君が主要な貢献をした論文「Search for squarks and gluinos in final states with jets and missing transverse momentum using 36 fb-1 of √s=13 TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector」[arXiv:1712.02332] が Physical Review D誌に、中浜優准教授とN研卒業生の小野木宏太さんが主要な貢献をした論文「Search for top-squark pair production in final states with one lepton, jets, and missing transverse momentum using 36 fb-1 of √s=13 TeV pp collision data with the ATLAS detector」[arXiv:1711.11520] が Journal of High Energy Physics誌に受理されました。

これらの論文は、それぞれ、超対称性理論が予言するスクォーク・グルイーノ包括的探索とトップクォークの超対称性パートナー（ストップ）の探索の2つに対応しています。 超対称性粒子の発見には至りませんでしたが、グルイーノの質量は最大 2 TeV、ストップの質量は最大 1 TeV まで質量縮退した領域も含めて、重要な超対称性粒子パラメーター空間に対する感 度を大幅に広げました。
